Iam A Cow.

Baby D is turning 6 months old in a few days. He will be taking solid food anytime soon now but I decided to wait until his next appointment to consult with his Peads because as most of you know that his a preemie baby.

So Ive been successfully breastfeed him since day 1 until now despite sometimes I have to topup with Formula Milk. It has been a very stressful, tiring, depress and the most joyful moments in my life. I would give up anything in my life just to breastfeed Baby D.

My Husband has been the most supportive person throughout my breastfeeding journey. He is the one who always reminds me to pumped in case i forgot. He always reminds me how thankful Baby D that he gets the best from me.

Ive always told my Husband that I cant be on a diet because it will effect my milk supply and I was worried as Iam gaining weight. Being constantly hungry right after direct feeding and pumping makes me want to much on snacks all the time. My Husband being the sweet guy that he is, he said he doesn't care how big or fat I can get unless I dont stop breastfeed Baby D.

Everytime Im pumping or direct feeding my baby, my Husband would run to the Kitchen and make me Hot Milo and a 2 slices of bread toast. At first I didnt know whether to get pist of to be angry.I told him I wasnt hungry at that time. His respond was " nanti you lapar. Bila you lapar, susu you kurang. Makan la! "

Felt like crying because I was so touched. I have to admit my Husband can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but the thing he does like bringing Hot Milo and toast makes me fall in love with him all over again.

Whenever me and him went out for movies or just a walk at the mall, He will make sure that I had my water and snacks in my handbags.

Breastfeeding mothers are always hungry. I was worried about it at first but then again after talking to other breastfeeding mothers, they also went through the same thing.

 My version of 'Big Breakfast'

My everyday supper right after my last pumping session for the night. Toast with avocado and fried Egg with Hot Milo.

A few nights before, I asked my Husband whether he still loves me even ive become fat like a cow. His respond was priceless :-

" I lahir tahun Lembu. I dengan lembu tak dapat dipisahkan. Everytime i tengok you dari jauh, I teringat dekat Lembu hitam putih yang dekat New Zealand tu. Comel ! ".

Since that night whenever Baby D crying for milk, my Husband would say to him

" Kejap.. lembu on the way "

So I guess I am a fat Moooooooooooo!!
