Pavlova with Fruits

Pavlova, one og my worst nightmare. Here's why. Fristly u need to be extra careful in the process of making Pavlova. Why you ask? I will explained later. Despite it difficult, its super tasty.. I've been craving for Pavlova since i saw Schawals' story counting their days to the wedding day.

So during the birthday celebration in our Seremban house, i've ordered Pavlova from Lea Oven. So since then, ive been sreaching here and there on the right technique on how to make a perfect Pavlova.

I fine this recipes thanks to my dearest 'Orang Kampung' a.k.a Jamie Oliver.

Ingredient.


  • 4 egg White
  • 1 1/4 cups of caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon of Corn Flour
  • Baking Paper
Topping


  • Whipped Cream
  • Fresh fruits ( advisable buah2 yang masam so that boleh balancekan the sweet flavor from the whipped cream n the Meringue)
Direction.

  1. Panaskan oven 180 degrees
  2. Pukul Engg white sampai kembang,Kemudian slowly add caster sugar spoon by spoon.
  3. Guna kan speen yang paling tinggi untuk 10 minutes. (Advisable not to used the hand mixer coz lenguh tangan)
  4. Dalam mangkuk yang lain,campurkan tepung jagung, vinegar and vanilla essence
  5. Take one spoon of the egg mixture to be added with the cornflour mixture... Stir properly
  6. Add the remaining mixture.
  7. Place mixture on a tray which has been covered with waxed paper, spreading mixture to a 18 centimetre circle. Turn oven down to 100'C.
  8. Pace tray in oven. Bake for one hour. Turn oven off and leave pavlova in oven to cool, or leave in overnight. Cover with whipped cream and fruit.



Segala penat lelah berbaloi... sangat la ssedap

IMPORTANT NOTE :

  1. Gunakan telur yg sejuk untuk asingkan the egg white and the yolk. Much more easier. TAPI, make sure biarkan the egg white to cool to room temperature.
  2. MAKE SURE, sume peralatan baking ( bowl mixer, metal mixer, pan, sudu senang cerite sume peralatan kene bersih dari air, atau minyak. If not memang xakan menjadi)
  3. MAKE SURE ikut measurement. Pavlova sangat-sangat sensitip.
  4. MAKE SURE Pavlova tu da sejuk sebelum letak whipped cream and fresh fruits on top.
  5. JANGAN LUPE bace bismillah =)
