Beef Stew with Grill Cheese

Semalam selepas penat kemas rumah, siapkan assignment and study sikit, peort pun da berbunyi sebab dari pagi tak makan, ive decided to cook something. Buka pintu fridge and freezer dan termenung la aku pikir ape nak masak. Since its already 6.30pm and kejap lagi nak menghadap tv tengok final bola, ive decided to make something so simple and sangat la cepat nak masak.

Beef Stew is always our familys' favorite. For me i think its a balance food sebab you can have your fiber, protein in one bowl.Usually Beef Stew kita orang serve dengan Baguette ( roti panjang ). But since aku cukup nye malas nak ke Cold Storage beli barang, nampak ada roti and cheese, so aku buat grill cheese aje.

Ingredient for Beef Stew.

1 Onion
3 cloves of Garlic 
3 Red chilies
3 tomatoes
1 tbsp Chili paste


200 grams of beef ( can substitute with Chicken). Cut into medium size cubes
1 carrot cut into large chucks 
2 potatoes cut into medium size cubes
1 cup of pasta ( you can used any kind of pasta. I used Ribbon Pasta)
1 tsp Black Pepper
2 cubes of beef stock
4 tbsp of Butter
2 tbsp of Olive Oil
1 small tin of Beans
2 cups of boiling water
A few pinch of mixed herbs

 1. Combined Onion, Garlic,Red Chili,Tomatoes, and Chili paste into a food processor and blend
     everything.

all the blended ingredient.Make sure sume hancur.

2. In a big pot, melt the butter and Olive oil. Cook the beef for 3 mins.Take the beef out and put into a
    separate bowl. The purposed of briefly cook the beef is to release the beef fat and it will combined with
    the creaminess of the butter.



Beef yang briefly masak Suma lemak-lemak da cair.

3. Saute the blend ingredient for 5 mins Keep on stirring so that it would burn. Add the beef, carrot,pasta
    and potatoes. Add 21 cup of boiling water first. If the stew is abit watery,dont worry. The liquid will be
    absorb into the beef, potatoes, carrot and the pasta.Add the beef stock cubes.



4.In medium low heat, cover the pot and leave it for 20 mins for the beef, potatoes, carrot and pasta to
   cook.

5. Add the beans and the mixed herbs.


I used this bean sebab sangat la sedap.




Ingredient for Grill Cheese.

2 slice of Gardenia Bread
1 sliced of Parmesan cheese or Mozzarella Cheese
1 tsp of Butter

1. Butter all the bread. All side

2. Sandwich the cheese between the bread and put them into a frying pan.

3. In medium heat, keep on frying the bread til the cheese is melted and glued the bread.

4.When the bread turn to golden and crispy, its cook.
