Malays and Their Sensitivity...

Salam and greetings to all.

Firstly since Ramadhan has come to an end, i would like to spread the love everywhere and wish all of you Selamat Hari Raya.Hoping everyone is enjoying their Hari Raya as this is the only time of all of us to gather with families.

So, lets get back to the point. During this Ramadhan, we came across with a few issues which involves with malays,Islam and it sensitivity. Firstly its about Alvin and Vivian.I dont know what their real agenda when they decided to upload the pictures with a nice caption. But to me, i see it as some stupid joke. I dont take it personally about it. Im upset but as i said i dont take it personally. But in this issue, they should have known better. They're both Malaysia, they know how sensitive this issue can be. Before they decided to upload the pic they should asked them self wether they willing to accept any consequences later on. Then after afew days, i saw on the news when the both of them was surrounded by the reporters outside the court Vivian was surprisingly covering her face. WHY? For what your covering your face for?... Whenever i Google their names , tons of picture of them doing what they do best... 

I overheard a conversation between 2 guys commenting about both of Alvin and Vivian in TGIF while i was waiting for buka puase with afew of my ex collagemate. They were saying something like 

" Kenapa orang melayu perlu sensitive sangat pasal hal ni sedangkan kite sendiri tak sensitive pasal agame kita?..Tengok rape cases,kes ugut,dadah same yang paling banyak among three races in Malaysia?.. Now they expecting others to respect our religion"

Then afew weeks ago case Maznah Mohd Yusof. This time its about her and afew dogs in a video with 'takbir Raya' on the background. I did watched the video a few times. They i came across with this article.

I won't apologise - Dog Trainer . I love animals.Honestly i do love dogs myself. They are loyal, intelligent and they are very loving.

 I used to live in Southall , England for 2-3 years while my parents completing their masters. At my school there were 3 German Shepard owned by the school guard. At first i was abit scared because i hardly see a huge dog in Malaysia.Next to my school is a small mosque. Every morning ive noticed there's an old lady carrying a bag of sand and she always pat the dog before she heads off the the mosque. But before she entered the mosque, she took out the sand and start washing her hands with it. A small child i was that time, asked one of my teacher who is a Muslim lady about it. Then from there i learn the word Samak.

Back to Maznah story.She claims that the video was recorded afew years ago and she was not the one who uploaded them. In this case, i would say that what she's trying to say that we should celebrate Hari Raya with everybody including the animal. But i dont think it necessary to do such video. She's malay and islam obviously.Since its already happen then nothing much she can do. 

From my personal opinion, dogs are not harm to our religion. From the Al-Quran, we knew about the story of Ashabul Kahfi. But i just dont understand why we malays are so narrow minded about any issue regarding dogs, pigs and haram. Our religion is simple. But some of us makes is complicated and difficult. For dogs, i love them. i adore them. I love patting them and touching them. Despite whether the dogs is dirty, wet or clean, i will samak later on. Simple! Bak kate my friend

" Kalau anjing tu haram, kenapa ade dalam Al-Quran? Ada dalam surah dan hadith? and kenapa Allah s.w.t cipta anjing and babi for that matter? "

So my opinion is, Alvin, Vivian and Maznah should have think twice before doing those things. To me, its not a big issue pun but remeber, different people have different ways on accepting certain things especially when it comes to sensitive issues like this. For Alvin and Vivian case, i'll see is as a practical joke which should happen at the first place. For Maznah, she did nothing wrong. God asked us to love and treat others no matter to other humans or animal equally.No need to discriminate. We should stop this particular attitude which is "PERANGAI CEPAT MELATAH"

 " kau nak pegang anjing or babi, pegang aje la.. Lepas tu samak aje la.. bukan nye susah sangat.Bukan susah nak mencarik tanah.. Belambak..Kalau tak nak samak, rase macam leceh, tak payah pegang!  Cukup mudah! Kalau kau terasa nak makan Bah Kut Teh , makan la. Lepas tu pandai-pandai la kau nak samak mulut,perut ko lepas tu".. Understand what im trying to say here?.Simplicity.Convinience.!
