Ive been a fan of Twilight since the day a friend of mine bought me Twilight book. From there, i became so addicted to it. I dont even know why. I spend more time reading that book compared to any other book. I would kept on reading it until i have enough money to buy the next sequel to it, New Moon. Same goes with Eclipse til Breaking Dawn. A friends whos a huge fan of Harry Potter once asked me whats so interesting about Twilight. I stoped for a while and think..." I dont know"... Til now if anyone asked me the same question, i will give the same answer.
For me Stephenie Meyes is a brilliant writer.She has this super power on overtaking someone lifes, feelings, emotion just by her imagination and her writing.While i was reading the books, i was Bella. I understand her misery of choosing between Edward and Jacob. I understand why she insist of becoming a vampire just to be like Edward, why she try to risk her life by doing dangerous stuff just to see Edward again and how she tries to protect her family from the Voltories. I understand her sacrifice.
Ive been waiting for Breaking Dawn Part 2 even when Breaking Dawn Part 1 havent been release yet.I kept on looking at the calender and counting the days to 22 Nov 2012. I kept on repeating to Che Mat that he needs to come with me to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2 for moral support. And..... the day has come...
Today, me and Che Mat went to Times Square to watch the finale. As we entered the cinema, i told Che Mat dont ever disturbs me while im watching. Because he has this habit of pinching my cheek during watching a movie. God knows why he loves doing it.
I was so into the movie. Finally i get to see Renesmee. She was a vision. Beautiful, full of grace and poise. Exactly how i pictured her in my mind. Her big brown eyes mesmerized me. Suddently, i felt like she was my daugther that time. Watching how she was so closed with Edward makes want to have that close bond between my own daughter and my husband someday.
As the movie are about to end, theres a scene where Bella and Edward are sitting in a middle of a field surrounded by flowers, there's a flash back of the day they met, the day when Edward showed her 'the real side' of him, the day they got married, and the day Bella gave birth to Renesmee,my eyes started to tears. Because i was so happy that my Bella has found her happiness.Bella has found Edward, having Renesmee.They have their 'forever'.
Some people doesnt enjoy reading the book as much as watching the movie But to be honest, reading the books first then watching it later is way better.The secret to enjoy the story much better is by reading all the books first, then only watch. Why -
While reading them, i can "feel" the story. I have our own set of imagination while reading it. I get this sense of trance while your reading and imagining at the same time. But as soon as you watch the movie,it looks so real to me.Its no longer a fiction, i feel like it does happen.I was crying while leaving the hall theater.Che Mat was weird and start laughing because i cried. I told him that he wont understand how i felt at that time. I told him the feeling of watching the last sequel is like broken up a perfect relationship, or saying good bye to some one whom you love the most in the world passed away.He became more puzzled knowing the fact that ive already read the books so technically i knew how the story will end. Then i gave him a simple example which im sure he will understand.
Malaysia won gold medal during Sea Games in 2011.We won againts Indonesia and the final goal was scored by Badrol Bakhtiar. Its was something which im sure 28mil Malaysian wouldn't expected to happen.But it did.It was the most epic moment while watching football. Things like that you cant read them in the newspaper, you need to see it so that you can feel the joy and satisfaction. Thats the same thing with Twilight. Luckily he understand.
I still cant believed that finally all has come to an end. With that said, i have afew things that i wish i could say to Stephenie Meyer.
Maybe this story is just a fiction, all fantasy but i was happy. Happy for Bella. I hope one day i will be as happy as her. Having my own 'Edward' by my side through out any obstacles in life, a friend like Jacob, a family like the Cullens and a daughter like Renesmee. I hope for my 'forever'.
