ZARA BAHARIM: We're Engaged Part 1

Yesterday 29th June 2013 is one of the most historic, memorable day of me, my parents, my family , Che Mat and his families life. Ive been keeping it a secret since early this years from my friends and alot of planning involved. Me and Che Mat been surveying lot and start buying a few stuff.Here's the low down on afew details on my Engagement.

Dulang Hantaran,

Me and my mom had a slight misunderstanding where at first i had my own specific idea for my dulang hantaran. But then she and my aunt decided to make their own version.My aunt volunteer to make my dulang hantaran so since i was too busy with class and other stuff, i said go ahead.MAJOR MISTAKE!!!... My idea was i want all purple velvet pillow and gold detailing but this is the end result.

I was dissapointed at first. I Whaasup this pic to my bestfriend.Even my bestfriend knew that this is waayyy differed from my taste. Che Mat asked me to just let it go and go along with Mak and my aunt. So i did. Then afew weeks ago my aunt came by to my house and finished her final detailing on the hantaran. I was suprised she manages to make it look ok. Malas nak pikir punya pasal aku follow aje la.

Doorgift

I wasnt planned to do any doorgif.Ni pun last minute actually. Mom planned on giving dodol and pengat. This a tradition actually. Kalau ada kenduri , Dodol and pengat menjadi benda wajib untuk dibagi ke tetamu. But then disebabkan ada rezeki lebih, i ordered cookies from my bestfriend, Temah and also Chocolate Muffin from my favorite baker Kak Anis.
