I have to say that the year 2013 is one of the most exciting year so far. Alot of things happen and alot of memories been created for the past 365 days.Some of them are good things, some of them are bad.Either way, whatever thats been happening is what makes me who i am now as a person.So here's few of this year highlights.

May 23 2013 - Me and afew bunch of my colleague went to Vietnam for afew days. At first i wasn't excited about it since only afew days before my engagement.The tought of not having enough savings and i was feeling abit down which literally blew me off. But then my mom insisted on me going to give myself a break before the big day makes me reconsider the offer. But as i step my foot there, i was extremely happy. I am a history junkie myself so knowing that we going to visit few historic places was pretty exciting.
Then, i did spend a substantial amount of my saving on afew things. I bough Vietnamese coffee, telekung, and i did bough afew shirts and t-shirts for my dad, cousin, Che Mat, my brother - in laws and my ayah in law :p... So much stuff until i have to pay extra because my baggage was overload.

2.New House.
Another exciting thing happen this year is, move in to a new house. Finally!
We used to live in a slightly smaller house. 3 bedroom apartment.Bukan tak nak bersyukur tapi the house is like a museum. Why so? Because my mom has this thing for antique stuff. We do have another house in Seremban which is a huge house but there also is like an museum. My room for example is small. i have no place to put my make up table, my shelf for my books and other stuff.
So after afew renovation for the new house, we finally moved in. I have my own space to put my make up table, a slightly bigger space after i organized my stuff.

3.Abbasy
This year is where my best friend Nina gave birth to her first baby, Abbasy. I was so excited about it rasa macam Abbasy anak sendiri. Heheh.. Abbasy is so cute and smell nice. I would eat him anytime.

Even i was busy most of the time and jarang dapat jumpa Abbasy, i would make a point to go to Shah Alam and spend time with Nina and Abbasy.
4. My youngest Auntie Engagement.
During Maulidulrasul, my aunt got engaged to her long time boyfriend. Things happen really fast and most of us were really shocked by it.But so far everything goes really smooth.Its a small ceremony. No catering, No make up artis, no dias. All of us, cooked, prepared everything.

5. Achu Wedding.
1st June was another historic day where my auntie were married.Again same as her engagement ceremony, its a small private ceremony. Family and closed friends came to celebrate the couple. Panic attack did happen here and there but everything was okay.All of us were pretty tired but we all were very happy.

6. Mr. & Mrs. Fiance
29th June, it was a Saturday afternoon where me and Che Mat were engaged. It was serial but nice. hahaha.. After almost a year and a half of fighting, laughing, crying, biting, slapping and making fun of each other, we finally decided to got engaged.
Alot of things happen before we decided to get engaged. We almost broke up but we finally managed to fixed things. The reason why we chose 29th june is because Che Mat said thats the closest date to our official anniversary which is the 2nd July and 29th is the date where we first met in Mid Valley.
So after all the preparation, arranging everything both side of the family finally meet. This is the first time ever i met his side of the family.It was scary but exciting.I didnt invite any of my friends expect for my close friends only. Nina and her husband couldnt make it because Abbasy wasnt feeling well. The only friend that came was Sha and Am.

Its a small ceremony. Me and my mom cook afew hours before. Yes, i cook for that day. I told my mom i want to cook everything for all of them. So i did. 2 days before my parents went to Cameron Highlang to buy afew fresh flowers for decoration.
One thing i was abit upset about everything is i dont have enough time to talked to everyone in his family. I was pull into 4 different direction by his family. Above all things going well.
7. Loki and Snowy
As of August, we only have 1 cat. Amour. At first we though she was a he. But the as days gone by we realized that he was actually pregnant. Kunsa agaknya kucing ni. Then my mom decided to bring home 2 more kitten. A bengal and a Short hair Birman named Loki and Snowy

But sadly enough they didnt last long. Both of them died. I was upset about it and i cried for days.I miss Loki so much since he was the only one who would sleep with me every night. Memang sangat sedih.
8. Amour and Her lil Kitten.
Our beloved gemok a.k.a Amour gave birth to 4 kittens during buka puasa. I literally have to wait for her because whenever i leave her, she will followed me everywhere i go.So me and my mom take turn to wait for her. My dad was so excited he bring his phone to the mosque while he was performing terawih.

But afew days later one of the kitten died. Dont know why . That time Mr. Fiance was at my house for buka puasa together with the family. Abah and him were the one who burried the kitten. I wasnt that sad as the kitten was really small.
Another kitten named Alexander Mcqueen. Yes. I named him after this late fashion designer. He was smokey grey colour and he was the most favorite among all kitten. Xander is very active, runnign around, climbing the stairs and all, climb back again type of kitten.
9. Perak Trip,
My family , my grandfather, and two of my aunties went to Setiawan , Perak for a family trip. In my family we always make a point after raya we would travel back to Setiawan to visit my brothers' grave. We rent a chalet in Teluk Intan facing the beach. This is our favorite place to stay whenever we're in Perak. This is where i grew up. We used to go to Teluk Batik every weekend because i love the beach so much.

10. Genting Highlang
This an unexpected plan. My dad out of nowhere decided to spend family time in Genting Highland. It has been almost 10 years since the last time i went to Genting Highland. Alot has changed. But sadly enough, the outdoor park was closed for the new 21 century theme park.
11. Life Style Changes.
As of people know, im struggling with my weight since i injured my back bone in high school.Then in mid of November ive decided to make changes in my daily diet. I eliminate sugar and Trans Fat from my daily diet and i squeezed in 30 minutes of workout every morning.

For workout, I tried Jillian Michael 30 day Shed. It was hard. So as dieting but i was pretty determine to do it as i really want to loose afew inch and percentage of my body fat.the first week ive lost 2kg. I was pretty happy about it, and i felt better about myself. I can sprint run for 2 minutes straight.
I avoid all process food except for bread coz to me that the most easy source of carbs for me. I only eat 3 tablespoon of rice everyday and i eat alot of eggs.By week 2, i was feeling lighter than before. I ate almost 5-6 times a day. Small portions obviously and i drink alot of black coffee and plain water.Lets see how it goes.
These are the few highlight that happen in 2013. Today would be the last day of 2013 and im looking forward for 2014. My new year resolution would be more positive, try to be more healthy then before and be more gratefull with the things that i have and less whining about the things that i dont have.
I look forward for 2014. Im going to change my status, trips and graduations.Hope next year would be alot better than this year, insyallah :)
