ZARA BAHARIM: 31 August.. 4 Birthdays

31 August yang lepas was a huge day for everybody in my family. This is the time where my mom side n my dad side of the family come together to celebrate the birthday of 4 person in the family. My dad, my sister, and my two untie.As usual , mak akan make sure that everyone will be coming. She will decide what to cook and whom to help her out. But tahun ni since mak su, achik will be arriving abit late from Kulai, so i will be the only one helping her out with everything. Cleaning the house, arranging the plate's, cutlery, tables and such.It was a very busy day indeed until i dont have time to spare afew minute's in the morning talking on the phone and chatting with Che Mat over Yahoo Messenger.

Then around 10am, first birthday girl arrived. Maksu came with 3 boxes of Polka Dot apams. Sangat sedap.At first aku heran jugak nape beli coz the nite before i told her she doesn't have to bring any food coz there's gonna be alot of food.

Ni la apam angry bird. Mak n abah tak sampai hati nak makan sebab ade mate siap kening. Look like a real bird to them.

As usual Maksu akan tukar uniform dan masuk kitchen untuk tolong. Dah penat kite orang halau die suruh duduk luar but then die tetap nk tolong. Tak sampai 10 minutes aku dengar suare yang agak high pitch datang dari pintu belakang.

'assalamualaikum...mane orang dalam rumah nih?'

That would be my oldest untie, the other Birthday girl.Mak long pun as soon as she arrives, terus masuk dapur. Dalam hati aku lega 'yosh! i get to get out for afew minutes to call Che Mat'.. As soon as i was about to escape myself to upstairs...

God daaayummm..... Tak dapat nk kacau Che Mat tdoq. Then aku masuk balik kitchen and start cooking.I was assigned to cook Spagetti Carbonara with clams,Bluebeery Cheese Tart, Potato Salad.Penat jugak la that day. Mak ngah sebok preparing Nasi Bukhari and Beef Stew, i was busy at the Dry Kitchen baking Blueberry Tarts.

Grilled Lamb

The boys were busy outside setting the BBQ to grilled the Lamb.Then around 1pm, Mak assigned me to take over grilling the Lamb coz the boys are going to the mosque for Friday Prayer's. But luckily Mak Lang step up and help out.

Then 2.30pm....

All cooking and baking are done.The days menu is :-

Pavlova with Fresh fruit and the Cake ordered at Lea Oven

Nasi Bukhari with Fried Chicken

Maks' Beef Stew. This stew is the best. Sangat-sangat sedap.

Blueberry Cheese Tart

Spagetti with Carbonara Sauce with Clams

Then i ran upstairs to take a shower and get readdy before other guesses arrives.Bile turun tengok the mens da makan. Tengok care die org makan memang seronok.All penat lelah masak hilang bile tengok sume orang berselera makan. Tak tau la sebab depa sume lapa or sebab sedap. Well, Mak masak mmg sedap pun.

That day ramai kawan-kawan abah and Mak came by.Tak menang tangan la layan sume. Ade time aku lepak kt depan TV.Kesian Che Mat xde orang layan die.Then around 4pm, acara memotong kek sebab En.Baha da bising sebab die da lapar nk makan kek.
