Meatball Madness...

Who doesn't love Meatball from Ikea?.. Honestly that was the best meatball i had.At first it was abit weird knowing your eating those meatball with brown sauce and strawberry jem. Its disgusting right? But how wrong was i that time. Its just dreamy...

So i came across with this recipe which a friend of mine shared in her Facebook.



Ingredient for Meatball.


  • 500grams of ground beef.
  • 5 cloves of Garlic ( finely chopped)
  • 1 onion finely choppend
  • bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cups of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tspn black pepper
  • 1/4 cups of milk
  • beef cube stock.
Direction.

  1. Mixed beef, onion, bread crumbs, black pepper, flour, milk, egg and beef stock cube. Mixed all together well and set aside.
  2. put a small amount of oil on your palm and roll the beef into small size balls. It will form up to 30-40 balls.
  3. Dip fried the meatball or baked in 150degrees for 15-20 minutes depends on the size.
  4. Done!
Brown Sauce Ingredient.
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 1/3 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of beef stock
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cups of sour cream
  • salt
  • 2 to 4 of cranberry jem
Direction.

  1. Used the remaining oil from frying the meatball and melt the butter.
  2. Add the flour and continue whisk the flour n butter mixture. stir often to make sure the flour is cook until the flour turn into brown colour.
  3. As the roux is cooking, add beef stock into the pan and continue stirring.
  4. Once the sauce is thicken and turns silky, add the meatball and turn the heat down.
  5. Then add the sour cream and stir again.
  6. Serve with cranberry jem.
